Who We Work With

Ashaninka village is the most numerous of the indigenous communities, representing about 70% of the total local population. However, the ACPC does not exclude people for any reason to any other source.

The ACPC recognizes other major players in the region, thus keeping open channels of communication and coordination with local municipalities, associations of farmers and settlers, government agencies, etc.

Finally, the ACPC at the institutional level coordinates and cooperates in various networks and forums with multiple institutions in an effort to achieve recognition of indigenous rights, its land, its development and conservation of the Amazon.

The ACPC is working locally with:

- Ayompari Aviveri - Asociación de Productores Asháninka del Valle del Río Cutivireni.
- Bioforest.
- Central Asháninka del Río Tambo - CART.
- Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Pangoa.
- Ejecutor del Contrato de la Administración de la Reserva Comunal Asháninka - ECOASHANINKA.
- Jefatura de la Reserva Comunal Asháninka.
- Jefatura del Bosque de Protección Pui Pui.
- Jefatura del Parque Nacional Otishi.
- Municipalidad Distrital de Pangoa.
- Municipalidades Provinciales y Distritales de la Región Junín.
- Organización Asháninka del Río Apurimac - OARA.
